Our business, located at 5571 Union Highway, New Waterford, started as a father and son operation in 1985 and has grown to employ up to 10 people during our busiest seasons.
We take vast pride in our workmanship and customer appreciation, providing customers with quality products and prompt, reliable service.
We offer firewood, cut and split, in 1 , 2 and 4 cord deliveries or stop in for pick-up service! We also offer bags of firewood (approximately .75 cubic feet) and racks of Hardwood . Two cord deliveries are free within the local area!
All of our rough lumber is cut in random lengths.
We accept cash or E-Transfers

Our Team
This is John and Michelle, our owners! You’ll see John most days in the yard! He’s always around to give a helping hand or some building advice! Michelle has been the beautiful face of River Ryan lumber for many years, but has passed the torch to our office girls while she maintains their other businesses! But she’s always a phone call away and stops in regularly to give us a hand in the office!
This is Becca! She is our office manager! Becca has been the manager for about three years now, and she’s one of two main girls who keep the the office running smooth! With over 18 years of customer service, Becca is able to help you with all your needs!
This is Eric! Eric is our operational manager! He has been with our company for a few years now & is a jack of all trades! When not running the porter, Eric is helping the mill crew or customers! If you need any knowledge on products, he’s your man!
This is Robert! Robert has been with River Ryan Lumber for over 25 years! He is our main firewood man & let me tell you he remembers every order and address! You’ll never find another worker like this!! Robert is one of our main staff who runs both the firewood processors and the mill!
This is Victoria! She is our Office Admin! Victoria is one of our two office girls who keeps the boat floating! She’s one of the most friendly girls you’ll meet! Victoria always goes the extra mile to make sure our customers are well taken care of!
This is Jesse! Jesse is our top sawyer but also our hands on handy man! When he’s not running the mill, he’s fixing anything and everything he can! He’s a self taught jack of all trades! Jesse has so much knowledge from lumber to building to electrical and everything in between!
